We own a Kenmore grill which had really terrible grates. This was one of Kenmore's removable grate system that we thought would work out well. But the grates that came with the grill were not working for us. They were wider than normal grids and heat distribution was a problem. As a result of that, food would get stuck on it and it was close to impossible to clean them. And of course cleaning them after every grill use was just a waste of time. Didn't leave me any time to enjoy an extra beer :).But these grates are nice. They are close to what you get with a Weber or a more expensive grill. They are cast iron and porcelain coated which makes for even heat distribution. We threw some steaks on them right out of the box and they worked fantastic. Also, they come in three separate pieces and were a perfect fit for our grill. I would highly recommend these as replacement grill grates.
