I got this based on the fact that you can put the grill plates in the dishwasher, HOWEVER, beware, they oxidize in the dishwasher. Meaning the back of the cooking plates, turn blak and wipe off on your towels, hands, ect. I called the manufactor and said this is normal, and i shouldnt wash them in the dishwaher very often. So much for convience!Other than that problem, it cooks awesome! I loved the temp control and timer. Great Features!! Plus it held 6 burgers!
I would buy this again, but would never put it my dishwasher.
I will always wash by hand.
