In a world that gets very hung up on tech -- including camping tech -- there are some easy to omit fundamentals that make camping what it should be, and Rome's Tripod Grill is one of those. Why so good you ask? Simple -- the tripod is well-made: No thin guage metal involved. It's very simple to use: just put the poles together, pop them into the top, put the chain-hung grill on and you're cookin'. It's well designed: there is a raised edge that keeps food (such as hot dogs) from rolling off the edges. It also breaks down small enough to fit into a patrol (a/k/a chuck) box. And for all of this, you get the taste of food cooked over an open campfire -- which is a real treat and part of why we get out there! Enjoy!
